The Market Share Model is a probabilistic choice model. Based on the properties of the defined relevant itineraries and the calibration parameters, the unconstrained passenger traffic share for all itineraries for each city-pair is calculated.

This model calculates the unconstrained passenger demand assuming no capacity limitations.

This model evaluates the profitability of a given schedule by mapping the unconstrained itinerary demands calculated by the market share model to the seat capacities given on the legs.

This model calculates shared and total revenues on a leg level.
